Live Oak Local Council

Welcome to the Website of the Live Oak Local Council of the Covenant of the Goddess. Our Local Council serves the Austin, Texas, metropolitan area and South Texas. Other parts of Texas are ably served by the Texas Local Council.

Live Oak Local Council was conceived in April, 2002, and was officially hived from the supportive folks at TXLC on Beltane (May 2), 2003.

Live Oak Local Council is a member of Austin Area Interreligious Ministries, having been voted in by the AAIM board on June 17, 2004.

The purposes for our organization include, but are not limited to:

local community networking
interfaith work within the larger pagan community
interfaith work with all religions in our area
offering credentials to clergy of our craft
offering public activities for seekers and solitaries
sponsoring visits by nationally-known Witches and Wiccans
advanced classes for coven leaders
